Community Based Networking Groups
One of the dangers of being jobless is the tendency to feel isolated and disconnected. Why not join with other job seekers in a career support group? Career Moves staff can help! Here are two options for you to conduct on your own.....
Job Clubs
The Career Moves Job Club is open to all area job seekers and career changers, free of charge. Participants share ideas, information, contacts and strategies. Job clubs meet in various locations; Sharon, Frammingham, and Needham, once a week. After each group meeting Debbie Lipsett will be available for individual consultation. Success Teams
Establish your own career support group of job seekers/career changers who meet for six week cycles. Congregants offer each other support, resources, and contacts, and hold each other accountable for achieving their goals. Our staff will train a group of 6-8 individuals to conduct their own Success Team.
Structured Networking Groups
Career Moves staff can train volunteers within or among congregations to run their own bi-weekly or monthly structured networking groups. Our staff will provide the initial training followed by phone and e-mail technical assistance and serve as presenters.
