A Client Success Story

Stephana, a Cameroon asylee, came to the US in 2008, having to leave her two children behind. After being referred to JVS, she received assistance in resume writing, mock interviews, and the job search process. An employment specialist helped Stephana apply for a job at the Fairmont Hotel, provided an orientation on the company and position, and accompanied her to the interview.

Stephana was thrilled when she got the job, and after only a month of employment, was put in charge of training new employees. Fairmont staff are very pleased with Stephana's pleasant personality and tremendous work ethic, and Stephana is excited to advance her career at the hotel and grateful for JVS' services:
