Job Preparation and Search Assistance

Volunteers are needed to conduct practice interviews with JVS clients who are preparing for internships or full-time employment. For more information, please contact Sharon Zammuto at 617.399.3218 or szammuto@jvs-boston.org.

JVS clients visit the Career Resource Library when they are actively seeking employment. Library volunteers can help clients format cover letters and resumes in Microsoft Word, practice interviewing, complete on-line applications, and use the Internet to search for jobs. Volunteers can help clients find appropriate publications, as well as assist with printing, copying and faxing materials they are using in their job search.
