Join the JVS’ 10-Day Job Quality Challenge!

Receive daily assignments by email November 8 thru November 19 and be directed to short videos, reading assignments, reflection questions/activities, and virtual gatherings that will expand your understanding of job quality and inspire you to make changes in the quality of jobs around you.

What?

JVS Boston is leading the 10-Day Job Quality Challenge to assist the region as it tackles the unique labor market that we are in today. The activities in each day’s challenge are designed to create dedicated time for you to build insight and action steps towards job quality.

When?

The challenge runs November 8 thru November 19. On Monday thru Thursday, challenges can be done whenever you like, but on Fridays (November 12 and November 19), we’ll invite you to join a virtual coffee and conversation from 9:00am-10am (Zoom link will be provided) . You are welcome to join at ANYTIME during the 10-day challenge.  Any challenge activities you may have missed can be accessed via the emails you receive. JVS will post each day’s activities on a site that only registered participants are able to access.  Be sure to double check your spam or junk folder for your registration confirmation and daily emails. 

Why?

Across the country, and right here in our region, a variety of organizations – including businesses, economic development agencies, workforce development organizations, investors and lenders, advocacy organizations, labor unions, and philanthropy – are innovating to improve job quality in their organizations or communities.  Through this event, we hope to expand understanding and support best practices so that organizations can move the job quality agenda forward and help companies to become an employer of choice for candidates, while succeeding in their industries.

Who?

Everyone can participate! This includes HR and employee experience team members, company leaders, workforce practitioners, managers and supervisors, educators, etc…
