Program Tracks:

We have two college prep programs open, General Studies and Biotechnology, as well as our pre-Bridges program English for Academic Success. All of our programs are 23 weeks long and offer academic, career, and financial coaching, as well as a smooth transition to either Bunker Hill Community College or Quincy College:

General Studies provides students with two for-credit college classes and academic support, prior to transitioning to Bunker Hill Community College, where they can study in the program of their choosing.

Biotechnology prepares students for a career working in Biotechnology doing lab research, manufacturing, and quality control. Classes are part time in the evening. After JVS, students enroll at Quincy College in their yearlong Biotechnology and Good Manufacturing Practices Certificate program.

English for Academic Success (EAS) provides the English reading and writing skills needed to succeed in the Bridges to College & Careers program and beyond. Students who successfully complete EAS go on to the Bridges to College & Careers program for an additional 6 months of academic classes and coaching, preparing them to enter college and start great careers.
