Brockton Career & Community Initiative (BCCI)

Brockton Career & Community Initiative (BCCI) is an inclusive career and community development partnership that serves one of the most diverse communities in Massachusetts.

BCCI provides comprehensive services to youth and adults with disabilities, their families, and immigrants and refugees all in one convenient location. We offer an array of career development, community integration, and personal development opportunities to the Greater Brockton community.

BCCI is a partnership between JVS Boston, House of Possibilities (HOPe), and Old Colony YMCA (OCY). 

BCCI Partners With People To:

Establish a career trajectory, secure credentials, and pursue additional education.

Secure paid employment and thrive in high-demand growth industries through job training, hands-on internship experience, and one-on-one career coaching.

BCCI provides comprehensive services to youth, adults, and families in the Greater Brockton community.

Who We serve

Youth with Disabilities

BCCI supports youth with disabilities through House of Possibilities’ college navigation and social recreation programs.

JVS Boston provides career coaching and college navigation to equip 14 to 16-year-old Brockton & Randolph students to explore potential careers.

We also offer coaching for parents of young people with disabilities.

Adults With Disabilities

At BCCI, we train 18 to 21-year-old Brockton & Randolph students at employer sites, such as Old Colony YMCA.

JVS also provides on-site career services in Brockton for adults with disabilities.

House of Possibilities provides day programs, overnight respite, and social recreation programs to this age group.

Refugees & Immigrants

BCCI offers on-site career services in Brockton for residents in emergency shelter. 

We also offer workplace-specific English training through JVS Boston’s English 2 Employment programs to support refugees and immigrants as they secure employment.
