Nate Marsh

As Head of Impact, Evaluation and IT, Nate helps JVS understand and strengthen its work through better systems, data, and technology. He partners with teams across the organization to improve everyday processes, make information easier to access and act on, and thoughtfully bring tools like AI into the work — in service of staff doing their best work and clients reaching their goals.

He has spent over two decades in nonprofit operations, most recently as Senior Director of Business Intelligence at Thrive Scholars, with earlier roles at Citizen Schools and Community Servings. Across all of them, the throughline is the same: designing systems and processes that remove obstacles and let mission-driven teams focus on what matters. He is a longtime Salesforce practitioner and has often shared his work with the broader nonprofit community, including presentations at Dreamforce and other conferences.

Nate holds an MBA in Nonprofit Management from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business and a BA in Anthropology and Philosophy from Oberlin College. He lives in Jamaica Plain, where he is a proud father to one child and two beautiful cats.
