Free Financial Education Services at JVS

Secure your financial future by taking part in one of our free Financial Education programs. Work with one of our financial coaches to get help with your taxes, budgeting to keep up with your monthly expenses, or another financial goal like saving more of your money. Learn more about all of our Financial Education programs below.

Financial Coaching

Meet one-on-one with a financial coach to create financial plan and put it into action

Create a personalized assessment which includes providing you with your credit report and score, and get help creating a household spending plan and balance sheet

Develop sound money management skills

Financial Education Workshops

7 financial education workshops to give you the tools and education you need to improve your financial well-being

Learn how to create a spending plan, improve your money habits, understand credit reports and scores, save for retirement, understand insurance products and the basics of taxes

Financial workshop participants must be MassHire members and membership is free

JVS VITA Tax Site

Free, confidential service that prepares federal and state tax returns on behalf of clients making under $70,000 per year

All volunteers are certified by the IRS to prepare taxes and they are dedicated to serving the needs of taxpayers
