JVS’s Refugee Services can help you learn new skills, improve your English, get a job, and advance your career. We have provided free employment services to local immigrant and refugee populations for over 40 years. 80% of program participants get hired into new jobs each year!

Start by filling out our application form. From there, someone on our team can assist you through the rest of the process.

To qualify for these programs, you must be a non-native English speaker who is work authorized and looking to start a new job. You must also be able to regularly meet with a career coach, either in person or over Zoom.

You do not need to pay for these programs. All of JVS Boston’s Refugee & Immigrant Services programs are completely free. If you are interested in participating in one of our Refugee & Immigrant Services programs, the first step is to apply today using our online application form.

JVS was founded in 1938 during the Great Depression to assist Jewish immigrants and refugees struggling to enter the American workforce and support their families. Today, JVS is among the oldest and largest providers of adult education and workforce development services in Greater Boston, serving a diverse clientele representing over 67 nations, and speaking 59 languages, and helping people secure financial independence through educational and employment services.
