JVS Boston was featured in an article by WGBH concerning the struggles that migrants living within the shelter system have maintaining employment. An excerpt from the article is below!

Hannah Odaa, senior director of refugee employment services at JVS, said it can take anywhere from one to six months to find someone a job. 

“That’s quite a big range. It’s because there’s so many different levels of English — of skills, and so many barriers to employment that we’re looking at,” she said.
