Vice President of Philanthropy
As Vice President of Philanthropy at JVS Boston, Dawn Hayes drives the organization’s major giving and planned giving efforts, cultivating meaningful relationships with donors and ensuring their support has lasting impact. She identifies new and diverse supporters, deepens engagement with existing donors, and works closely with board members and staff to advance JVS’s mission of empowering individuals from all backgrounds to build careers and achieve economic mobility.
Prior to joining JVS, Dawn was Director of Marketing & Philanthropy at DOVE (Domestic Violence Ended), Inc., where she led her team to secure a million-dollar transformational gift and doubled the organization’s individual giving in four years.
Before entering the fundraising field, Dawn was widely recognized as the long-time television spokesperson for the Massachusetts State Lottery.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications and Speech from Emerson College in Boston
