As the Vice President of Career and Academic Services, Elizabeth (Liz) is responsible for setting the vision, goals, and performance expectations of the Career Pathways and Academic Services programs. She is tasked with developing and leading agency pathways to careers and provide supports and services to clients who want to continue on in their academic growth. She continues to expand, grow, and support our programs based on identified needs of clients, employers, funders, and other stakeholders.
Liz has over 35 years’ experience in healthcare and was a professor of Healthcare Information Management, for over 10 years, at a local college. She holds extensive knowledge of curriculum development, program management, content design, and delivery. Liz has been instrumental in the implementation of our learning management initiative and recently rolled out a brand new Central Sterile Processing training program for the agency.
Liz joined JVS in September of 2006, and has worked for the past 17 years to improve clients career journeys, develop new training, and expand existing programming. She is committed to supporting diversity and inclusion at JVS and is an active member of the DEI council.
Liz has a B.A. in Fine Arts from BU and she holds the Department of Justice Accreditation for immigration support services for JVS.
