
Lily Sonis
VP of Refugee and Disability Services
As the Vice President of Refugee and Disability Services, Lily is responsible for setting the vision and overseeing goals and performance for the Refugee Services and Disability Services programs. Her role is to advance empowerment, inclusion, and equitable service delivery for refugees, immigrants, and individuals with disabilities.
Lily has 14 years of experience working in the nonprofit field, including roles in healthcare, research, public health, and community-based organizations. She worked for six years in a hospital-based center developing holistic services for immigrant and refugee patients and providing direct services for this population. She has published research articles on immigrant and refugee health, health policy, and advocacy.
Lily holds Master’s degrees in both Social Work and Public Health from Boston University. She also holds a certificate in Interprofessional Leadership in Healthcare from Boston University.
