JVS Workplace ESOL programs are designed collaboratively with employers.
We typically recommend a multi-week program with regular weekly instruction to support measurable language growth. Depending on your goals—such as improving job performance, safety communication, or career mobility—programs may be offered over multiple cycles to achieve deeper English gains.

JVS uses a combination of standardized assessment (BEST Plus 3.0) and instructional data to measure progress and program impact.
Participants complete a validated English proficiency assessment at the beginning and end of the program to measure growth in speaking and listening skills. These results allow us to place employees at the appropriate level, tailor instruction, and report on measurable skill gains using a state-recognized assessment tool. Employers receive clear insights into outcomes and overall program effectiveness.

Workplace ESOL content is job-specific and aligned with day-to-day workplace communication.
Instruction focuses on practical English skills employees need to perform safely and effectively at work, including job-related vocabulary, following instructions, safety communication, and strategies for asking questions and confirming understanding. Content is contextualized to each workplace to support immediate, on-the-job application.
