El Planeta Publishes Article Celebrating the Opening of ArLab

El Planeta, Boston’s largest Spanish language publication,  wrote an article about the opening of ArLab, our state of the art training facility in partnership with Quincy College. A translated section of the article is quoted below!

In a conversation with the president and CEO of JVS Boston and the lieutenant governor of Massachusetts, the importance of integrating the historically marginalized Latino community into two of the state’s most robust sectors: healthcare and biotechnology was highlighted.

“The Latino community is one of the most hardworking in this country, especially in Massachusetts. Employers depend on the Latino community to run their businesses. The healthcare sector, in particular, needs this community to operate effectively. Additionally, with the biotechnology boom in Massachusetts, there is a growing interest in establishing a strong connection with this group,” [JVS CEO Kira] Khazatsky added.
