JVS’s Bridges to College (BCC) Biotech training program prepares you for a career working in the thriving biotechnology industry doing lab research, manufacturing, and quality control. After participating in the JVS program, Biotechnology students enroll at Quincy College in their year-long Biotechnology and Good Manufacturing Practices Certificate program.

The Bridges to College Biotech Training program consists of 23 weeks of part time training, which includes academic, career, and financial coaching to help prepare you for college and beyond. Participants have the option to select a morning or evening schedule.

Bridges to College and Careers Biotechnology students learn all of the essential skills for working in laboratories and manufacturing facilities. These duties include: operating and maintaining equipment, monitoring production processes, conducting tests and experiments, documenting results, and ensuring compliance with biotech industry standards and regulations.

You can continue biotechnology training in Quincy College’s Biotechnology and Good Manufacturing Practices Certificate program.
