Join JVS for our FREE, part-time Direct Care Worker Training Program. During our 6 weeks of training, we will equip you with all of the basic skills that you need to start your career and excel on the job. At the end of our 6-week training program, graduates will be placed in full-time roles at local disability services organizations.

Successful completion, which includes passing the MAP certification exam, results in guaranteed job placement with our employer partner
Direct Care Workers provide in-house support to adults with disabilities within group home settings. This includes providing activities of daily living assistance (bathing, personal care tasks, meal preparation) as well as offering opportunities for community engagement such as accompanying residents on outings to museums, parks, or even part-time jobs.
