English 2 Employment fulfills requirements for Comprehensive Refugee Employment Services (CRES). This Employment program with provides vocational English classes designed specifically for individuals who have been in the United States for fewer than 5 years, and arrived as a refugee, asylee, or similar population.
English 2 Employment is an employment support services program (ESSP). We provide English classes and job search support for job seekers who were born outside of the fifty United States, are parents of dependent children, and are receiving – or are eligible to receive – TAFDC (cash benefits) from the Department of Transitional Assistance.
